LIMITED WARRANTY
iAtelier Services Corp. (“iAtelier,” “we”) is pleased to extend this Limited Warranty (the “Warranty”) covering certain of its products (including those sold under its Cavalletto Home brand) listed below, to original end-use purchasers (the “customer”). The Warranty shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.
The Warranty can also be found online at www.casaispirata.com and is subject to modifications from time to time, at our sole discretion and without notice. Our responsibility for defective products is limited to our choice of repair, or replacement, subject to our receipt of satisfactory proof of the defect, as described more fully below.
We guaranty that the products and parts listed below shall be free of defects in workmanship and materials, so long as these be put to “ordinary residential indoor use” from the date of retail purchase (if purchased through an authorized dealer) until the Warranty expiration date and subject to the limitations and exclusions stated below. For purposes of this Warranty, “ordinary residential indoor use” means use in a single-family dwelling with product maintenance performed in accordance with our instructions and absent misuse, accidents or negligence. Any maintenance or cleaning performed without observing our instructions will void this Warranty.

Upholstery Frames & Springs: One (1) year - Only if unaltered
Cushion Cores: One (1) year - Warranty covers loss of resiliency for two (2) years when put to ordinary residential indoor use
Fabrics and Leathers: One (1) year. The following shall not be considered defects covered by the Warranty: Any fabric characteristics, such as color variation, graining; minor wear; stretching and wrinkling due to normal use.
Casters and Swivel Bases: One (1) year

Wood Products (Wood Beds; Wood / Upholstery Combination Beds; Dressers; Nightstands; Mirrors; Chests; Dining Tables; Dining Chairs; Bachelor’s Cabinets; Buffets; Sideboards; Cocktail Tables; End Tables; Side Tables; Lamp Tables; Spot Tables; Console Tables; Sofa Tables; Entertainment & Media Consoles; Bookcases; Writing Tables / Desks; Desk Chairs; Lateral File Cabinets): One (1) year Wood surfaces have natural grain variations, color variations, pinholes, knots, mineral streaks and other markings, which are not considered defects, and this warranty does not cover such variations.
Stone, Glass and Mirror Surfaces: One (1) year Stone surfaces may have natural pits and voids either filled with resin or not, depending on the design of the product. These are not considered defects unless excessive in size. Mirror glass is sometimes hand cut/beveled and will show slight movement/waves in the bevel edge which is not considered a defect.
Finishes: One (1) year Please note that the veneer can vary (including color, grain, and texture) based on the natural characteristics of the wood. These variations are not considered defects and this Warranty does not cover such variations.
Hardware: One (1) year (replacement parts only) warranty. So long as the original purchaser is currently in possession of the product, we will replace Hardware which exhibits defects in material and/or workmanship, by sending the relevant replacement parts, free of charge, to such purchaser. This warranty a) applies exclusively to the original end-use purchaser, who purchased from an authorized dealer and b) is not transferrable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any and all other claims are excluded, including related labor costs regarding removal of the defective product and/or installation of the replacement part.
Drawer Glides: Limited lifetime (replacement parts only) warranty. So long as the original purchaser is currently in possession of the product, we will replace Drawer Glides which exhibit defects in material and/or workmanship, by sending the relevant replacement parts, free of charge, to such purchaser. This warranty a) applies exclusively to the original end-use purchaser, who purchased from an authorized dealer and b) is not transferrable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any and all other claims are excluded, including related labor costs regarding removal of the defective product and/or installation of the replacement part.
Any item repaired or replaced under this Warranty will be covered by the Warranty for the remainder of the original Warranty period only.
Limitations and Exclusions of the Warranty
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR ANY AND ALL LOSSES OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS OR FROM ANY OTHER CAUSE. OUR LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED IN THIS WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
The following limitations and exclusions apply to this Warranty:
1. The Warranty applies only to the original purchaser, buying from authorized dealers or from us, and is not transferrable;
2. The Warranty shall not apply to products that are rented, or employed for business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential uses;
3. The Warranty will not apply to products that were, at any time, used as a floor sample or display model;
4. The Warranty shall not apply to any products purchased “as is” or second-hand (including any products purchased at a distress sale or a going-out-of business sale, purchased from a liquidator, or merchandise obtained from a rental retailer);
5. This limited Warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation (defects caused by a shipping carrier must be disputed with the carrier, which shall be exclusively liable to remedy the damage or defect).; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance (including staining or discoloration caused by non-manufacturer approved cleaning products or techniques); (e) tampering, alterations and modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; (h) negligence; (i) chipping, denting, scratching, and gouging that occur from handling after shipment of the product; or (j) any other external causes such as accidents, pet damage, abuse, and/or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control;
6. Our obligations under this Warranty are limited to repair or replacement of the product(s) or part(s) covered by this Warranty that are, in our sole discretion, found to be defective in workmanship or materials upon examination by an authorized representative, followed by our receipt of satisfactory visual proof of the defect (or any other form proof as may be required by us at our sole discretion). Refunds are not available.
Claim Procedure
To obtain warranty services, you must comply with the requirements of this Claim Procedure.
Contact us by calling +1(407) 917-7753 or emailing our Customer Service Department at concierge@casaispirata.com during the Warranty period. All claims must include the original bill of sale and be filed both i) within the applicable Warranty period and ii) within thirty (30) days of when the defect was discovered or ought to have been discovered. We reserve the right to ask that you submit photographic evidence of any and all damaged areas. We further reserve the right to require defective parts be returned upon our request.
